Business Cost Analyst, Senior

This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

What You'll Do:

As a business analytics and financial consultant on our team, you'll:

  • Consult on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools including CRM, Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep.
  • Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through performing highly complex financial and administrative reporting for major programs, business units or functions.
  • Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization and trend identification and analysis.
  • Analyze and process data, while creating and maintaining models and report templates and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions using OTIS, CRM, Tableau, Excel, Microsoft applications, including Power Point, Teams and SharePoint.
  • Recommend appropriate performance measures to be produced, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Review, advise on, and conduct cost, schedule and contract performance, variance and risk analysis.
  • Develop cost controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract and program status, and ensuring compliance with government and customer requirements. Assign government mandated cost and accounting management systems.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to fellow team members.
  • Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for Global Defense Sector Group, Accounts, Business Operations Team and Senior Leadership.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Business, Data, Cost, Financial, Predictive, or Statistical analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams and OneDrive
  • Experience with developing, building, and maintaining Cost Models
  • Experience in building or maintaining cost analytics and data models in Excel
  • Experience with visualization and data analytics tools, including Tableau Desktop or Tableau Prep
  • Experience with querying and importing data from various datasets
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in project management or requirements analysis
  • Experience in operations management and analysis
  • Experience in Contract management
  • Possession of problem-solving skills, including thinking outside the box
  • Tableau analysis tools Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $80,000 to $100,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
