The Digital Marketing and Commercial Excellence (DMCE) organization was stood up in early 2021 to accelerate our commercial transformation, with a focus on modernizing customer engagement for competitive advantage, using data-driven insights. We think about this from three angles:

  • How commercial teams develop and iterate strategy that bring value to patients, customers, and our Company
  • How we engage with customers to build a relevant conversation and sustain long-term relationships
  • How we build a culture that sparks innovation, experimentation and empowers diverse and inclusive teams


Our role is to work with colleagues across the world with the goal of doubling the speed, impact, and efficiency of our customer engagement over the next three years.
The DMCE organization consists of people with diverse backgrounds and skillsets. We have leaders who have gained extensive experience inside our Company, and from other large organizations and startups. We have people with deep experience in modern marketing and strategy, along with specialist capabilities. Examples include automation and marketing technology, customer experience, omnichannel marketing including social media, agile and change leadership, and content creation.
As a member of Digital Marketing Operations, the Business Automation Analyst is responsible for the identification, qualification, implementation and change management of intelligent automation solutions to enable executional excellence. The incumbent will fulfill a client facing functional role, working closely with other members of the Process Excellence & Business Automation team, Information Technology and stakeholders from the business across the world, to translate business requirements and desired outcomes to automated, scalable solutions across the Human Health organization.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify processes and tasks for improvement opportunities utilizing lean methodology and intelligent automation (Robotic Process Automation (RPA), OCR, etc.)
  • Develop business case for all improvement opportunities and use cases
  • Assist with the prioritization of improvement opportunities
  • Document the current "As is" process, applications used in the process, "To be" process and business exceptions handling
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders and IT Development teams to transform ideas into fit for purpose, scalable automation solutions
  • Work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders through the qualification, Proof-of-Concept, prototype and MVP phases to ensure alignment and clear understanding of automation process impacts and interdependencies
  • Identify process metrics and KPI's to track realization of the business case
  • Develop training, implementation and change management plans for automation solution and process improvements
  • Provide training and lead the implementation and change management plans
  • Develop and document process and best practices
  • Manage and track Agile activities to deliver (and scale) each automation solution
  • Develop and implement communication activities as needed


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Information Systems Management, or Computer and Information Science or an equivalent field of study


Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least three years of process design and process improvement experience
  • Awareness or Training in Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience with Robotics Process Automation, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and/or other workflow automation tools
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaborate with team members both in person and via collaboration tools
  • Superior project management skills, ability to prioritize work, manage many projects simultaneously and must be able to work successfully in a very deadline driven environment
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to challenge the norm & drive change


Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats
  • Familiarity with low code automation / citizen developer experience
  • Experience with Medical Legal Regulatory review process


Location:
This position is location agnostic but may require up to 15% Travel to our Upper Gwynedd., PA or other office locations for collaboration, as needed.
