Role Value Proposition:
The Business Analyst will be primarily responsible for partnering with the Program Relationship Consultants (PRCs) for day-to-day transactional customer and business partner needs on installed client companies for the Transition Solutions service at MetLife.

This role will offer a great learning opportunity by empowering the Business Analyst to develop relevant skills and build their professional network and providing visibility into several departments and functions within MetLife.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help manage a shared mailbox responding to customer and business partner inquiries and providing analysis and research as needed in a given territory.
  • Responsible for ongoing customer file flow including researching missing files, incorrect files, and questioning file data in order to process records appropriately.
  • Prioritize and process data records that need extensions, corrections or updates
  • Provide data and answer questions upon request from external financial professionals and internal account teams we partner with
  • Collaborate with others to document process and system improvements that drive better customer service and efficiencies, providing support as needed around the creation and distribution of outreach requests generated as a result of the PlanSmart programs


Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

  • 3+ years of related business experience
  • Intermediate or above proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, primarily an above average user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of data integrity; working across a multitude of systems and databases at the same time
  • Must possess high level of organizational, prioritization, be detail-oriented and have excellent time management skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, producing consistent results while following a repetitive process

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
