Zions is seeking a Business Analyst

We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will be critical to the success of our commercial lending team in supporting the lending application. In this role you would translate business needs into technical requirements, working closely with our business users, project management, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will want to be part of a motivated and driven team and work with respected leaders. Responsibilities:

• Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards.
• Perform application troubleshooting and the coordination of incident resolution. Work with end users or vendors, as needed, for problem resolution and make recommendations for improvements.
• Be responsible to facilitate new or enhanced change management requests and post change validations. Conduct user acceptance testing or test planning sessions.
• Act as a liaison to various departments, management, and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures.
• Assist in developing user documentation, writing requirements for system changes, and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, finance, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
• 2+ years' experience in business analysis, processes, procedures, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, etc. or other directly related experience.
• Solid analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid presentation, technical and non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
• In depth banking and commercial lending experience is a plus.
• Some experience with Agile project methodology, or similar, is preferred.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.

Location: This opportunity will be in our brand-new Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT. We have a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home if you are within the Salt Lake City area.
