Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) has an exciting opportunity to join the team in Philadelphia as a highly organized Business Analyst for the Public Investments Platform Technology team.
MAM Technology builds and maintains scalable global platforms leveraging a range of technologies from Software-as-a-Service, AWS to internally built applications that enable MAM to grow as a data driven and tech enabled organization. The Public Investments Platform Technology manages one of the core platforms called BlackRock Aladdin for the purpose of portfolio management, order management, trade execution, and pre-trade compliance system. Working as part of a global team, you will collaborate with users, vendors, engineers and other product managers to maximize the platform capabilities.
In this role you will:

  • Track and address day-to-day requests relating to the platform and its products, researching, and implementing solutions for stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze, and maintain master configuration lists that drive product's behavior, including permission groups and interface inventories
  • Support functional leads in optimizing investment management workflows through the platform
  • Work with end users to complete change requests to address gaps in the platform data and functionalities
  • Setup and manage vendor and internal discussions that drive delivery of requirements
  • Participate in sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies
  • Provide support on project activities to ensure successful implementation


It's highly valued if you can bring these to the role:

  • Good understanding of the buy-side trade lifecycle; 3-5 of years' experience in financial services
  • Excellent organization with attention to detail, and problem solving
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to empathize
  • PowerBI or advanced use of Office 365 for workflows and data analysis
  • Prior experience as a system analyst and/or business analyst preferred but not mandatory
