Job Description The Sales and Marketing IT group supports third party applications that addresses the business needs of the JP Morgan Chase marketing groups. We work closely with all CCB Product teams to provide consistent, integrated applications that are intuitive, dependable, and easy to use for our customers. We are seeking a passionate result-oriented technologist to drive better, faster, simpler solutions and technology direction. Someone that is highly motivated, hands-on and cross-functional with the capability of driving high quality solutions to difficult problems.
The individual would act as a technology partner to our Chase Marketing Paid Media Team. You will support the Paid Media team from evaluation to implementation of third-party solutions either on-prem or software as a service (SaaS). The team works closely with Chase marketing business units to understand consumer needs and business priorities. Those priorities can range from adhoc requests to participation in project planning or implementation of new Media Buying, Social Media Management and Audience Management Platforms. Part of that planning process is to understand the scope and capability requirements from the business partner while considering all technology and control requirements to be able to fully utilize the solution within the Chase network. Partnering with Architecture, Internal Risk and Controls teams is also vitally important to the success and security of the Chase Digital platform. The ideal candidate is one who has a background in the Paid Media Space but is also passionate about integrating those solutions into a complex technical enterprise architecture to provide a world class solution to our Chase Marketing Partners.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight to the marketing group delivery manager during implementation and enhancement cycles including strategic planning
  • Manage tech & strategy solutions engagements in a cross-functional capacity; data management platform (DMP) and/or customer data platform (CDP), offline data onboarding, multi-source data strategy, measurement and attribution, and digital media campaigns
  • Coordinate with Paid Media and Analytics teams across the bank to identify solutions of value, collaborating with product, architecture, and oversight teams and other JPMC technology teams to build use cases and prioritize development work
  • Expand marketing technology connectivity to Chase owned ecosystems (Analytics, Email execution systems, global domains)
  • Work closely with the Risk Control teams as Application Owner for break remediation planning and Software Development Lifecycle controls
  • As Application Owner, can engage with third party vendor to manage software and patch upgrade planning/implementation where applicable
  • Assist in application troubleshooting with third party vendor and internal teams when necessary
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal (business and technology team members) and third-party vendors.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Project Management or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
  • 4+ years of marketing experience in paid media, advertising technology, personalization, or technology management experience
  • Experience with Marketing and Advertising Technology Platforms (i.e. Media Buying, Social Media Management and Audience Management Platforms)
  • Experience in Financial services and/or highly regulated category
  • Deep understanding of media technology across display, social, mobile, and emerging solutions
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders across functions and at all levels (business, technology, operations, executives, peers)
  • Excellent relationship skills, highly collaborative; can build rapport and credibility, and can drive desired business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of advertising and privacy concerns in this rapidly shifting environment
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into presentations that can be understood by non-technical individuals
  • Exceptional partnering skills required to navigate large organizations
  • Candidates must be highly self-motivated and confident in ambiguous circumstances.
  • Experience with working on SaaS or On-Premise based platforms
  • Exposure and experience in design and implementation of cloud based marketing domain solutions
  • Familiarity with IT control processes around Risk and Compliance
  • Candidates with one or more of the following skills will have an added advantage
    • Agile project management experience, including use of agile project management tools (i.e. Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Experience coordinating SAML and ADFS authentication/authorization to internal/external vendor applications
    • Comfortable in more than one programming language and have a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet relationships
    • Static & Dynamic code scanning tools and technologies
    • Ethical hack / Penetration testing tools and technologies
    • Open Source scanning
