The Team
The MMLIS Inforce team is looking to add principals to the following teams:
Advisor Operations:
The MML Investors Services (MMLIS) Advisory Operations team is responsible for the processing of post-issuance transactions such as account maintenance, liquidation and trade hold requests for accounts clearing through National Financial Services (NFS). The Advisory Maintenance team strives to create lasting relationships with our partners in the field and Home Office by providing excellent service and care. We also promote cross-training across departments to support growth within our team as well as to support our money movement, transfers and agency maintenance teams
Brokerage & Advisory Maintenance
MML Investors Services (MMLIS) Brokerage & Advisory Maintenance team is responsible for the processing of post-issuance transactions such as account maintenance for accounts clearing through National Financial Services (NFS) and held directly with external vendors. Also responsible for future cross-training in order to process money movement, transfers and agency maintenance requests.
Cashiering:
MML Investors Services (MMLIS) Cashiering department reviews and processes all internal brokerage and advisory transfers in a timely manner to facilitate the movement of customer funds in and out of our brokerage accounts, held with National Financial Services (NFS); including depositing and withdrawing of funds. Further, the team handles the setup and modifications of money movement investment and withdrawal plans. We provide guidance and education to field reps on requirements and regulations regarding money movement and communicate frequently with National Financial Services. The team also works closely with the Transfer of Assets, Advisory, New Business and Trading teams within MMLIS.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Conduct back-office review and firm-acceptance of Inforce Account Maintenance business submissions related to Brokerage, Direct and Third-Party Advisory accounts. Additionally, it is expected that you will assist when needed with Brokerage/Advisory Transfer of Assets and Money Movement items for Business Acceptance, Suitability and Best Interest requirements.
Review trading activity of registered representatives through supervisory control procedures and application of firm policies and procedures and will require the associate to eventually become a subject matter expert for all previously referenced lines of Inforce Business, including a solid understanding of our platforms and systems.
Determine root cause of issues, provide solutions, and resolve matters independently without management supervision at times.
Implementation and management of operational and supervisory procedures for the firm.
Ability to effectively communicate with registered representatives, agency personnel, and internal business partners such as Compliance, Field Inspection, and Regional Supervisory Directors. Specialized regulatory review of securities such as Options trading and Municipal Securities may be required. Involved daily in complex problem resolution requiring higher level critical thinking.
Consult with registered representatives, Agency Supervisory Officers and Regional Supervisory Directors, providing guidance on suitability concerns and guidelines.
Consistently identify and report to management on trending and risk mitigation measures.
The MINIMUM Qualifications
**FINRA Series 7 required at time of application.
FINRA Series 24 required to be obtained within 90 days.
2+ years MMLIS experience and / or 3+ years' experience conducting suitability reviews within the brokerage/advisory space.
Superior customer service skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player, self-motivated; patient demeanor; approachable style.
High aptitude for effective problem resolution.
Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
**Must be able to work EST hours
**Principals working 100% remotely may be subject to on-site inspection by MML and/or regulators.

Salary Range:
$55,000-$70,000 **Commensurate with experience and FINRA licenses
