Billing Database Specialist I
JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate the address, account and device creation process in the various billing systems for production testing using working knowledge of house values, code tables, agent/franchise codes and the different order entry, house creation and provisioning processes that vary by market. Position is responsible for ensuring accuracy of data entry into the billing system based on established premise related house values and ongoing maintenance & data governance of test locations and accounts in all Billers
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Assist in the implementation of billing software standards and regional reports.
Understand the different house creation processes that vary by market.
Understand order entry processes that vary by market.
Support various serviceability applications used to facilitate requests.
Maintain established SLA's for both residential and commercial test location and account requests.
Apply proper values during the location and account creation process.
Ability to interpret engineering design maps used to accurately determine serviceability.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly house maintenance QC checks, and other data governance tasks
Facilitate change request tickets from end users that require specific house values be updated on existing accounts. Support multiple organizations for all of their production test needs.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned by management.
No Supervisory responsibilities with this position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of Premise related code tables and house values
Knowledge of CSG and ICOMS billing systems
Address and account creation process in each billing system by market
Ability to interpret engineering design maps
Knowledge of serviceability applications
Ability to work independently
Detail-oriented and produce work with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and establish and adhere to timelines
Must possess effective proofreading skills
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Required Education
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Knowledge of cable billing, cable operations, cable accounting procedures - 0-1
Knowledge of cable television products and services - 0-1
Cable industry software experience
Project management experience
