BI/Analytics Specialist

About the team
FIS Ethos is all about building a data culture. Agile development teams are building an end-to-end data ecosystem to service thousands of financial institutions. Products and services include data shares and APIs, analytics, data science, machine learning, and much more. We are looking for a BI/analytics specialist to enhance and evolve the analytics solution for community banks.
What you will be doing
- You will interact with stakeholders and business users to gather requirements
- You will model and transform data to support ad hoc reporting and other use cases
- You will develop, deploy, and troubleshoot a variety of extracts, reports, and queries
- You will help build and manage business intelligence and analytics platforms running on the Microsoft and IBM Cognos platforms
- You will create scripts and programs to perform deployments and automate workflows
What you bring
- 5+ years experience building and delivering enterprise-grade reports and/or applications
- 5+ years experience with BI/Analytics platforms, especially Cognos and Microsoft
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases
- Advanced SQL skills
- Advanced analytical skills
Added bonus if you have
- Experience with multiple BI/Analytics platforms and Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, etc.
- Experience in financial services
- Statistical analysis, forecasting, and machine learning
- Programming experience in Java or .NET
- Cloud experience on Azure or AWS
