BI Reports Developer

About 25% of the American population lives in a community association and more than 60% of new housing built for sale is within associations.

Due to CINC's continued growth and innovation, the company is seeking to add a skilled BI report Developer with a good understanding of the development, testing, and implementation of SAP Crystal Reports and Microsoft Power BI reports to the team. This position will be part of an agile development team that is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting mission critical enterprise SaaS applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Gain relevant business domain knowledge quickly.
  • Support the entire reporting development lifecycle (concept, design, implement, test, release, and support).
  • Working with business stakeholders to design and implement reports that meet specific business requirements.
  • Following best practices to produce fully functional and quality reports/dashboards that are scalable and supportable.
  • Create Crystal Reports/Dashboards according to guidelines while suggesting improvements to style, formatting, use, and technical requirements
  • Validate reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Solve problems and work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Modernization of crystal reports/dashboards to Power PI reports.


Requirements

Technical Skills and Experiences Required:
  • Proven skills in developing, testing, and implementing enterprise-scale SAP Crystal Reports and dashboards
  • Good understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Accounting a big plus
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • A high degree of personal motivation, initiative, and flexibility
  • Must be action and quality oriented, capable of multitasking well based on priorities.
  • The ability to clearly articulate issues, status and solutions to teammates, application managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, process driven, and dynamic environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and working experience with Relational Databases (e.g., MS SQL Server). Must have solid skills in writing SQL queries/views/stored procedures, data modeling, and data profiling.
  • Must have the ability to write complex, highly optimized queries and the experience with query optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and in continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI reports and conversion of legacy reports (Crystal) to MS Power PI is a big plus.
  • MS SSRS/SSIS experience is a big plus.
  • Experience in .Net C# is a plus
  • 8+ years of BI reports development experience.
  • 5+ experience with relational database and SQL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
