Why This Role Is Valuable
The AVP, People Analytics, will have a direct impact on shaping our people strategy and people experience from application to departure. In this role, you function as a key member of the People & Culture Business Partner team standing up data visualization tools to drive workforce planning and Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (IDE). You will create and implement analysis focused on maximizing awareness, insights and solutions around our people and culture.
How You Add Value
Business Partner Data Analytics
- Own vision and execution of our approach to people data analysis that will inform our decision making
- Identify, propose and implement solutions necessary to build out foundational analytics tools
- Develop and maintain various Tableau dashboards by employing design and visualization best practices; design predictive and prescriptive models
- Create high-impact people data visualizations alongside clear, compelling MS PowerPoint presentations
- Present findings and insights to People & Culture Business Partners on recruiting, retention, attrition, performance, compensation, talent development and engagement
- Work in close collaboration with the People & Culture Talent Acquisition team to incorporate all recruiting dashboards and other metrics into the business partner analytics menu
- Complete deep analysis of compensation review and engagement survey data
- Identify links between human capital and business performance/goals
- Create standard reports for recurring customer needs, providing analysis where appropriate
- Complete special projects as needed for senior leadership
Inclusion, Diversity & Equity
- Partner with the Business on DEI data measurement and analytic needs and translate them into a vision/strategy/plan for delivering actionable results, while providing innovative feedback to ensure IDE solutions leverage the full potential of best practices around the company
- Manage and support input and submissions of external diversity surveys
- Translate and summarize IDE data into written reports, tables, graphs, and charts to convey information to management
- Drive business value by transforming IDE data and analytics into actionable business insights to guide strategic decisions
- Create and present high-impact IDE data visualizations, communications, and data "stories" alongside clear, compelling recommendations
- Ability to communicate complex ideas/findings clearly and concisely.
- Use a combination of internal and external IDE data to generate insights about IDE strategy
- Research future trends and develop global insights and intelligence for the IDE Office
- Collaborate with IDE leader and P&C Business Partners to understand IDE needs, uncover questions, align perspectives, and use data to inform our IDE strategy
- Develop, implement, and update an end-to-end IDE measurement and analytics processes to include technology, data, process, and frameworks
- Evaluating talent diversity and prototyping solutions to enhance pipelines and candidate pools
- Coordinate with and provide support to enterprise Talent Analytics on IDE related components of tools, technology, deliverables and processes to ensure a unified analytics approach and message
Centers of Excellence: Measuring Success
- Support Learning & Development function in providing
- Collaborates with subject matter experts across People & Culture teams (Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to provide subject matter expertise on continuous process improvement related to reporting, data analysis and visualizations
- Partner with Operations People Technology stakeholder to understand our People & Culture systems and extract data and insights for our overall department
What You Bring To The Role
Required:
- BS/BA degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience i n Human Resources or equivalent experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to partner, communicate, and translate business requirements to executive leadership into technical builds and vice versa
- Ability to synthesize data sourced from independent systems within the People & Culture team and integrate into a holistic, actionable direction
- Advanced MS PPT skillset to create slides that tell the story of the data, insights and recommendations
- Experience with business intelligence visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, Excel or similar
- Experience building data analysis tools and dashboards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
- Experience in human capital consulting, organizational psychology, program management, workforce analytics with exposure and understanding of reporting
- Experience leading quantitative research in two or more of the following areas: diversity and inclusion, career growth, performance management, manager/leader development, program evaluation, and retention development
