The Business & Expense Management Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the administrative and business financial activities of a business. These tasks may include business planning and analysis, financial reporting support and managing expense approval processes. The Business & Expense Management Analyst may assist in activities such as the reporting of business financials and variances, tracking employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs such as; invoice processing and reconciliation, org chart creation. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Analyze financial data and provide variance reporting support
  • Manage weekly headcount resource tracking and create staffing status reporting.
  • Interface with Finance, HR recruiting partners and business managers to ensure accuracy of monthly headcount forecasts and organizational charts.
  • Oversee and coordinate business contract approval requests for submission to finance and senior management reviews.
  • Create requisitions, manage purchase orders and perform invoice reconciliations ensuring accurate and timely payment of supplier invoices.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency
  • Prepare and present analysis and recommendations to business managers and senior leaders
  • Strong knowledge of Excel including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and formulas
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.



Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Requires attention to detail, excellent project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at once and meet deadlines.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills



Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
