Audit Technology Sr. Business Analyst
Job Description As part of Audit Technology, we are looking for innovative and passionate Business Analyst to manage several transformational programs for Audit business. We are building the next generation of applications through a multi-year technology transformation that will automate the audit workflows into best in class technologies and frameworks, delivering an improved user experience. The successful candidate will support key initiatives to closely work with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate into JIRA, and liaison between business and technology teams for the successful implementation of programs. The individual will play a critical role in every phase of the SDLC and is expected to liaison with the stakeholders and teams across business and technology groups.
Responsibilities
- Collecting user requirements and feedback from Product Owner(s) and Tech Lead(s) in formal and informal settings.
- Performing in depth analysis for fact finding on existing behavior of the system (including business logic and end-to-end data flow) and educating stakeholders to help ensure the build of comprehensive, robust requirements.
- Refining Agile stories to a level of detail that will enable code to be written and tested without defects or requirements gaps; write acceptance criteria and generate test scripts.
- Partnering with product owners and testers to prepare user stories for technical delivery.
- Managing product backlog along with Product Owners
- Working closely with UX teams on design of new features and components.
- Running effective requirement sessions and/or feature team refinement sessions within dedicated Agile teams in Sprints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, or Technical Analyst, with heavy emphasis on technology and implementation understanding
- Hands on SQL experience
- Ability to breakdown complex business requirements
- Strong analytical skills with a continuous process improvement mindset
- Ability to work and think independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Prefer experience working with Agile Development teams
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders
- Exposure to software development methodologies, practices and tools (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Jira, Confluence etc.)
- Understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and various types of testing
