SPS Commerce is looking for an Associate Solution Strategist who will work cross-functionally to gather busines requirements and translate them to technical requirements within our SPS Analytics tool. What is the day to day like?

• Work to understand the business dynamics and data requirements of external customers that will inform the road-map to on-point solution delivery
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the customer's needs are translated successfully to the technical team
• Validate the user experience during the implementation process to ensure that the solution is aligned with customer expectations
• Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant for capabilities of the SPS Analytics solution

What is required?

• Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience; or equivalent education and experience
• Strong communication, change management, problem solving, and organizational skills
• Exposure to project-based work experience in IT, Project Management, Customer Service, or a related field

What is preferred?

• Strong customer facing communication skills
• Previous experience in Business Analysis or Project Management in a customer facing role
• A familiarity and understanding of the software development lifecycle (waterfall and/or agile) and a general understanding of SaaS applications
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them to technical requirements
• Some experience with MS SQL, including the ability to write basic queries
• Salesforce experience
• Retail and/or Supply Chain experience
• Working knowledge of a BI tool, such as MicroStrategy
