Job Summary

The Associate OSO Data Analyst is primarily responsible for executing routine data management tasks required to run the non-operated business. This position maintains the data integrity of non-operated properties across multiple systems and databases. This role will also have the opportunity to learn and develop data and analytics skills to contribute on more advanced projects.

Performs a range of straightforward assignments. Contributes to tasks or projects within a team, function, or work group. Practical working knowledge of a technical or specialty area. Exercises independent judgment in accordance with policies, procedures, techniques, relying on limited experience to plan and accomplish work. Works under a moderate level of supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and manage all related data for non-operated properties in Aries and WLM
  • Process workover proposals from non-operated partners
  • Correspond with outside operators to confirm development plans
  • Confirm accuracy of well and production data, take appropriate action on any changes, and communicate required corrections to the necessary parties
  • Accumulate and effectively organize engineering data from multiple sources for engineering analysis
  • Create and maintain custom database and spreadsheets of technical data as required by the team
  • Perform data capture processes as necessary to support analytics efforts

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years experience working as an Engineering Tech, Engineering Specialist, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, IT Analyst or related role



Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
