What you will do:
Leads data consolidation and experimentation across our marketing ecosystem. The authority on experimentation within the Marketing Department and guides efforts to consolidate visitor data and manage teams to implement personalization, A/B testing and other testing strategies. Key role in shifting the culture of the organization to embrace and properly utilize experimentation through common data sets.
How you will do it:
- Helps build and scale a Digital Experience Optimization (DXO) practice that provides strategic ideation, design guidance, development and quality assurance support the growing number of digital experience optimization
- Takes ideas and transform them into requirements. Recommends how to frame experiments from ideation, design, implementation and measurement and reporting.
- Leads and collaborate with a team of other Marketers, Developers and QA Engineers to execute the experiments.
- Partners with the NM.com strategy team to run bi-weekly stakeholder alignment calls. Leads the discussion of results, the status of experiments in the design/dev cycle, and strategize on future experiments
- Develops a multi-year strategy related to the implementation of Centralized Data Platform to unify disparate systems into a single truth of customer
- Partners with a team of data source experts (developers, solution architects, BI, Governance), channel experts (channel managers, strategists, data analysts) and customer experts (marketing strategists) to ensure the CDP is successfully implemented and meets evolving strategic needs
- Leads automated, 1:1 personalization in partnership with the NM.com strategy team.
- Leads the effort to build dynamic customer profiles: join first-party data, behavioral information, and 3rd-party integrations to build a complete picture of our users to implement advanced personalization.
- Audience targeting and segmentation: Runs targeted experiments on specific personas and break down the results by behavior, location, and context
- Behavioral personalization: Makes content and product recommendations based on a user's past browsing behavior, using algorithms like collaborative filtering
- Automated, Makes 1:1 personalization: content and product recommendations based on a user's past browsing behavior, using algorithms like collaborative filtering
- Predictive Audiences: Leverages future personalization engine to predict user's intent and generate/refine new segments
Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Minimum of 7 years experience in data consolidation / web optimization and testing including experience with Centralized Data Platforms, web analytics software (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) experience with BI tools (Power BI, Mixpanle, Heap, Tableau) and experience with AB testing tools (Optimizely, Life, Adobe test and Target).
- Exceptional customer insights and proven success utilizing analytics to provide strategic recommendations and drive concrete action
- Strong writing, communication skills, project management, and technical aptitude required.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills, affinity for numbers and the ability to process complex calculations quickly and accurately
- Strong client management skills with executive level communication experience
