Citi Irving are currently recruiting for an experienced Application Support Technical Lead Analyst at Vice President level for our Custody Settlements functions of Securities Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing Incident/outage Management, pro-actively collaborate with Development and Infrastructure partners to identify and remediate stability risks, and engage in crisis management and cross region handholding of issues.
  • Investigation of incidents reported across applications within the Global Custody and Direct Custody and Clearing lines of business.
  • Engagement with ITIL processes including Major Incident management, problem management, change management etc.,
  • Drive Operational Excellence across Custody Application stack to improve Operational scores across Incident, Capacity, Change, Resiliency, and Monitoring.
  • Enforce best practices for centralized knowledge management and define procedural guidelines for various Support processes to strengthen support process.
  • Experience in performing resiliency activities such as disaster recovery coordination from Production to Contingency site from an Application Support perspective, and Application component level resiliency tests.
  • Confidently handle outage communication with stakeholders in Business and Operations.
  • Strong Team Player and able to operate without authority to navigate through teams and complex issues and Tasks.
  • Operate with a broader view when determining priorities and able to maturely deal with stakeholders to get things done to achieve Stability and Efficiency targets.
  • Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Guide/Coach junior team members to target higher standards in Support delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with Peer group and partners to accomplish department goals.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Technical Skills:

Mainframe Technology
  • Language and Database: COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2.
  • Tools: STROBE, OMEGAMON, Debugging/diagnostic tools
  • Others: IBM MQ Series, Connect Direct/NDM
  • Knowledge of MQ Series, NDM / IBM Connect Direct
  • Scheduling Tools (Autosys/Control M)

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
