Major Responsibilities
Under general direction:
Supports Pioneer business users in the use of Pioneer applications.
Works closely with internal customers to understand business needs and requirements, and provides suggestions for appropriate information technology solutions. Helps formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop and/or modify moderately complex information systems. Assists with the preparation of detailed specifications from which applications will be implemented or modified. Assists with vendor communications, installations, testing, documentation, and diagnosis / resolution of issues.

Competent to work at a technical level on most phases of applications systems analysis and configuration activities. Actively engaged in large project implementations.

Builds and maintains working relationships with other IT groups and resources to deliver seamless support to customers.

Demonstrates increasing technical skills and the ability to recommend and implement solutions.

Performs work of increasing complexity, size, scope, and impact.

Provides guidance and training to less-experienced analysts.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree required; consideration given for related technical and/or oil and gas experience.
* Minimum of six (6) years to 10 (ten) years related experience is required; consideration given for demonstrated technical aptitude.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, Citrix, and/or Linux. Training or experience in databases, scripting or programming, and application integration is strongly preferred.
* Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
* Must have strong problem-solving skills.
* Must demonstrate strong business, discipline and/or application knowledge.
