About the Role
The IT Business Analyst will play a key role in the business applications team in supporting ongoing application improvements as well as the technical delivery of projects in relation to the financial systems at AppDynamics.

• The Analyst will also be responsible for supporting financial system and maintaining all assigned business systems documentation.
• Because the role requires a high degree of internal customer interaction, the Analyst must have outstanding communication and influencing skills, an understanding of business process and systems, and able to coordinate and prioritize end user issues/requests.

You Will

• Analyze and review business, technical and functional requirements.
• Write detailed specifications of user requirements, business processes and procedures required to develop and implement software.
• Work in close partnership with an Agile development team to analyze product requirements in support of meeting the epic level product roadmap commitments.
• Assist in QA and user acceptance testing of existing and proposed software solutions.
• Partner closely with system architects to define and implement effective and efficient solutions to business challenges and opportunities
• Drive alignment among business partners from divergent functions.
• Ensure that requests from the business organization are effectively qualified, prioritized and executed.

About You

• Excellent people, presentation, influencing skills.
• Skilled in working with people at a similar level or more senior level internal or external to the company.
• Demonstrates clear oral and written communication skills to all levels within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
• Has a significant degree of business awareness coupled with a strong customer, service and quality orientation.
• BA / BS, Management Information Systems degree or related degree
• 3-4 years' experience in systems analyst roles, implementing and supporting ERP and other applications such as NetSuite, Coupa, Oracle, Ariba, Salesforce, Revpro
• Must have strong NetSuite, Coupa functional experience in the Order to Cash, Procure to Pay areas
• Experience with subscription billing module, NetSuite ARM module is a plus
• Solid grasp of handling end to end integrations between applications
• Proven project management skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• A good understanding of Accounting and Revenue recognition concepts
• Strong Business Process re-engineering and documentation skills
• Ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities
