Your Role and Responsibilities
In this exciting role you will lead a variety of analytics initiatives - development of analytics work products and models, ad hoc research, and analytics requests.
- You will coordinate with team leaders to spearhead value add work products that capture analytics processes and procedures throughout all stages of research, planning, development, testing, and implementation.
- Manipulate and display data to assist client insight - 10%
- Analyze, Develop, and Recommend Tools and Processes -30%
- Using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations- 10%

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in data analytics, predictive analytics, mathematics, statistics, or similar field (8+ years)
- Prior experience developing predictive or statistical models such as regressions, decision trees, neural networks, simulations, and/or optimizations (6+ years)
- Demonstrated skill and experience in analyzing data using Excel or other methods (5+ years)
- Experience in data preparation, manipulation, and cleansing, in particular for large datasets (5+ years)
- Experience in analytics development methodologies such as CRISP-DM, SEMMA, or similar (5+ years)
- Experience using SQL or other programming language to write complex queries, perform data analysis, extract data, and manipulate data (4+ years)
- Required a Masters degree with 10 years' experience or Bachelors degree with 12 years' experience
- Eligibility for a US Secret clearance
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Demonstrated experience in understanding unclear customer requirements and how they translate into technical tasks
- Excellent skills in conveying complex technical topics to non-technical personnel
- Experience managing teams of 5 or more data scientists, developers, etc.
- Demonstrated experience working with business owners to translate business problems into technical solutions
- DoD experience/background
- Active/Current Secret clearance
