The Analytics Enablement Program Manager plays a critical role within Medtronic's Americas Customer Care and Supply Chain organizations. This position will develop and implement strategies and processes to operationalize the analytics development lifecycle, advance analytics maturity, and drive analytics enablement and adoption. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strong technical knowledge, process improvement experience, and exceptional communication skills. The candidate will report to and partner closely with the Director, Analytics and Insights to bring the team's analytical strategy and roadmap to life. The candidate will partner within the team and cross functionally with key partners to drive consistencies and effective analytics enablement across teams. The candidate will also work with key stakeholders within Americas Customer Care and Supply Chain organizations to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and proactive decision-making via processes and strategies that enable the rapid delivery of information and insights to stakeholders.

A Day in the Life

As the Analytics Enablement Program Manager, you will:

 

  • Develop, prioritize, and execute a roadmap for analytics operational effectiveness, change management, training, communication, and adoption of analytical assets will transform the organization to be data-driven and metrics-based
  • Build an inventory of best practices that enable the team to deliver high quality analytics with speed and decisiveness and that improve operational effectiveness
  • Share analytics enablement strategies and best practices with sister organization in Enterprise and other regions, related/similar teams
  • Establish and maintain Governance Practices and Policies to manage all steps in the analytics development lifecycle and implementation/rollout to analytics consumers/end users
  • Implement a robust intake governance to further A&I strategy as well as optimize resource utilization
  • Create operating mechanisms to measure results against goals and provide visibility into the work the Analytics and Insights team is responsible for, both the analytical assets and the operational effectiveness components
  • Develop tracking and reporting/analytics that can be used to communicate the value/efficiencies the Analytics and Insights team is delivering to the Americas Customer Care and Supply Chain organizations
  • Actively influence and drive a data-driven culture that leverages leading indicators
  • Promote a support infrastructure to solve current business challenges at scale
  • Collaborate and maintain alignment with Medtronic Global Data Analytics and Insights strategy
  • As needed, support and/or develop analytical assets that create actionable insights across multiple workstreams, functions, countries, and operating units to create insights that drive outcomes

 

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

 

 

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in analytics/business intelligence, statistics, applied math, business, engineering or other technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, ideally transforming analytics, driving adoption, and building new platforms
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau, Python/R
  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Supply Management, or Manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics in a global Healthcare or Medical Technology company, preferably in support of operational efficiency and client satisfaction continuous improvement efforts.
  • 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry
  • Proven analytical development skills, process improvement, and strategy
  • Ability to lead change in a complex environment
  • Strong facilitation, influencing, organizing, and presentation/communication skills
  • Ability to simply and clearly convey and communicate complex concepts
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skill
  • Proven ability to achieve results through building partnerships and influence skills
  • Broad business understanding and ability to apply to current issues
