The Role

The Analyst -Thought Leadership & Strategic Initiatives will support the Senior Director, Thought Leadership & Strategic Initiatives by performing desktop research, providing synthesis and analysis of global trends of relevance to the Nordic family of organizations, and providing logistical support for Strategic Initiatives activities.

Key Responsibilities

The Analyst - Thought Leadership and Strategic Initiatives will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct desktop research following standard research methodologies
  • Assist with detailed analysis and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations to inform strategic planning, thought leadership, and materials used in client conversations
  • Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Thought Leadership & Strategic Initiatives, organize and execute assigned business projects
  • Using knowledge of the tools of thought leadership and the steps involved in their creation to assist the Senior Director, Thought Leadership & Strategic Initiatives
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, from leadership to consultants, in all business lines to gather requirements for creating, and regularly updating trend decks
  • Collaborating with team members to continually enhance processes and workflows to improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency
  • Assisting with multiple projects while adhering to Nordic methodologies
  • Utilizing data visualization to bolster the communication of complex ideas in a variety of deliverables
  • Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist in other initiatives, as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested


Skills and Experience

  • Must demonstrate and embody Nordic's Maxims
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, required
  • Desktop research skills and an understanding of how data are incorporated into thought leadership required
  • Experience cleaning, analyzing, and reporting on data from a wide variety of sources required
  • Must be proficient with data visualization software desired
  • Must have familiarity with the tools of thought leadership (blog posts, white papers, conference presentations, etc.)
