Job Description

The Analyst, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Inclusion will support and execute engagement and inclusion programs for employee communities, including supporting Employee Resource Groups globally. The role reports to the Director, ERGs and Inclusion and has no direct reports. We are seeking someone who has strong project management, budgeting and data analytics skills, with a passion for diversity and inclusion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the go-to-person for quantitative and qualitative data needs related to ERGs from ERG leaders and the Inclusive Impact & Sustainability team.

  • Develop and evaluate ways to collect data including opinion polls, questionnaires, and surveys. Convert findings and complex data into tables, written reports and graphs different global stakeholders including executive management can understand.

  • Identify trends and best practices based on employee inputs and based on what is relevant in the community/industry and make specific program/ speaker recommendations to drive learning, dialogue and action among Visa employees around the world.

  • Formulate data-driven ways to prioritize and manage Visa’s partnerships with select external diversity organizations/programs that advance talent, community and business impact objectives for ERGs in a way that ERG members can get maximum benefit for being part of the ERG.

  • Identify opportunities to integrate the ERG work with larger company wide initiatives, planning and employee experience. This may include collaborating with talent acquisition, regional inclusion and diversity teams and more.

  • Support managing and tracking budgets for 11 ERGs across multiple regions and chapters.

  • Support Visa’s global ERGs by being their trusted advisor and partner with event planning, logistics and processing payments for speakers, vendors, conferences etc across all ERGs.


This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both home and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two to three days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays as designated as in-office collaboration days. The third day in the office will be decided based on team needs and determined in partnership with senior leadership. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 2 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Strong analytical and data skills, ability to identify the right metrics and then translate metrics, research, and trends into readable and actionable insights
• Ability to work both independently and as a strong, supportive, collaborative team member with global stakeholders
• Passionate about inclusion & diversity, employee development and engagement
• Experience managing complex budgets across multiple teams and geographies
• Strong communication skills (research, writing, editing, presentation and speaking)
• Self-motivated and has the ability to manage multiple simultaneous priorities in a timely and organized fashion in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail, to complete precise data analysis
• High proficiency in MS Office programs, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to adapt to and learn new software programs/systems
• Experience running or supporting ERGs in a corporate setting

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
