As a Sales Business Analyst, you'll support sales force effectiveness initiatives and functions essential to sales force productivity, including planning, reporting, enablement, process optimization, training and sales program implementations. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic sales strategies and initiatives; identify opportunities for automated bidding process improvements and successfully implement new programs
- Manage and Contribute to reporting and dashboarding that is timely, accurate, easy to query, and of sound UI/UX principles
- Work closely with Sales Leaders, Strategic and Key Account Managers, Engineering, Product and Operations to deliver intelligence and actionable suggestions to increase yield and/or efficiencies for a portfolio of accounts or office locations
- Provide market related intelligence and opportunity for the business
- Analyze, interpret and interpolate data in meaningful ways to deliver actionable insights in a rapidly changing market
- Recommend coverage models, infrastructure, team configuration and strategic account assignments to leverage network level efficiencies
- Provide influence and insight for a variety of internal and external pricing products
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Proficiency with Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs; especially Excel.
- 1 year of business or sales analytics experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of sophisticated CRM systems
- Experience in change management, leading transformation and scaling for a global organization
It'd be great if you also have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Data/Analytics, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Pricing OR Trend Analysis experience in any vertical, a plus would be in financial, commodity buyer, etc.
- Experience in customer or internal facing reporting, releases, or intelligence briefing
- Marketing or product growth experience
- Large/enterprise account management experience
- Any experience with databases, data warehousing, data science, etc.
