Analyst, Revenue Management - Resort Group Sales
Job Description & Requirements
JOB SUMMARY: Assists in a wide variety of financial analysis and campus-wide communication for the Universal Orlando Resorts with a focus on the group and meeting segment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate group business for profitability. Based on analysis of revenue/profitability, give insights and guide group sales and catering managers with focus on optimal placement of group bookings
- Prepare and analyze all current group reports/data sources; make recommendations to optimize profitability and drive further development in group reporting to drive market performance
- Evaluate individual reservation and inventory requests from internal and external customers
- Manage group inventory system data entry process, to ensure accuracy of data, room blocks, bookings
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or related business major required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Hotel sales analytics experience an asset.
- 3+ years of revenue management, business analytics, or other financial/accounting experience required
- Strong initiative and analytical skills.
- Determine and evaluate approaches to non-recurring projects.
- Must have strong rapport and communication skills to deal with various levels of management and use these skills to "make it happen" on a timely basis.
