Program Analyst I

Job Description:

Fiserv's Corporate Analyst Program is an early career development program in which candidates experience two one-year assignments in a core functional role within the firm. Each assignment builds upon the other and together will provide a breadth of experience unique in the business worldand unique to you! We are looking for university graduates with drive, enthusiasm, and an evolving target for their career. The best and brightest will be the framework of the firm's future, a pipeline of top talent for positions in critical functional areas across the firm.

As a part of the Corporate Analyst Program you will have the opportunity to participate in complex projects that can have a significant impact on the business while strengthening the skills necessary to lead in the FinTech industry. Training curriculum, mentoring, on the job learning and exposure to senior leadership will be offered in these entry level opportunities with the ability to advance within our company upon completion of the two-year program.

Job Tracks:

The Corporate Analyst program offers several tracks in Human Resources.

In partnership with Business Leaders, recruiters, and Human Resources Business Partners, you will implement strategies that deliver a highly competitive level of talent to the organization faster and efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits: Provide comprehensive analytical support for the design and administration of compensation programs, position evaluations, salary recommendations, and other detailed research projects. Participates in compensation surveys, coordinates job descriptions, and prepares market data reports for management review and consideration. Prepares and monitors merit budget process and develops/updates salary ranges.

HR Analytics: Applies and integrates advanced and predictive analysis, people metrics and reporting to develop strategic and operational insights for workforce decision-making (e.g., staffing, learning and development, talent management, diversity and human resource compliance). Assesses organizational staffing and identifies requirements and solutions to meet workforce objectives. Manages databases and prepares reports and presentations on demographic profiles, turnover ratios, etc. for various audiences.

HR Generalist: Designs, implements, and monitors a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management. Responsibilities are within the Human Resources Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.

HR Operations: Manages the implementation and administration of human resources programs, policies, and procedures through a service center. Provide responses to inquiries, questions and concerns and providing information, guidance, and direction on HR policy, processes and practices to employees and managers. Works with HR specialty areas and leadership to provide feedback and implementation support for the development of new programs and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates of a bachelor's degree program
  • GPA 3.5+ preferred
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Microsoft EXCEL, PowerPoint, WORD knowledge
  • Drive and initiative, self-starter capable of working autonomously
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Highly adaptable, ability to multi-task and effectively meet deadlines

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

Additional Considerations:

  • BA/BS in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and altering priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and listening skills, critical writing and thinking skills, an open-minded approach and ability to think on one's feet
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and work collaboratively and cross functionally with all levels of staff and leaders
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and demanding environments
  • Strong analytical, reporting and presentation skills
