ndidate must go on site as required for meetings, etc. The Privacy and Information Security Risk Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the Privacy and Information Security Risk Assurance program continues to evolve and demonstrates the appropriate rigor and consistency. The Risk Assurance Analyst participates in risk assurance and control validation planning, field work, and reporting; prepares reports, and communicates findings and recommendations to line and senior management. The Risk Assurance Analyst will work with Management and Vendors to draft responses for recognized deficiencies. The Risk Assurance Analyst will monitor status of corrective actions, to ensure that they have been implemented in a timely fashion.

Qualifications
Education

HS Diploma required or equivalent education/experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Statistics; or equivalent education/experience is required.

Licensures and Certifications

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) required.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP required within one year of hire.
Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) preferred.

Experience

  • Experience with privacy and information security risk management systems in a healthcare system as typically acquired during 2 years in a similar position, required.
  • One years of healthcare information technology industry experience highly desired and preferred.
  • Proven experience effectively communicate between technical staff, line management, executive leaders, and physicians is required.
  • Experience working with security tools in the healthcare, privacy and information security, industry is preferred.
