The Role
The Investments Team at Fidelity Charitable is responsible for oversight of the charity's investments and investment program functions. As an Analyst, Investments, you would be an important member of the Investment team supporting trading oversight as well as reporting needs along with other general support of investment programs. You will assist with trade order entry of securities contributed to the charity and for managed accounts, monitoring of pooled investment flows, and will work closely with team members and business partners to assist with tasks related to audit, tax, and regulatory requirements in support of investment programs. Being successful in this role requires high attention to detail, positive and professional demeanor, and the ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required with concentration in business management, economics, finance or accounting preferred
- 2+ years of financial services experience, preferably in trading, brokerage, fund operations, or middle office
- Familiarity with trading order entry and transaction processing related to investment products, including managed accounts
- An intellectual curiosity and basic understanding of financial markets and publicly traded securities as well as a hedge funds and private equity
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
- Interest in pursuing CFA, CFP, MBA, or relevant master's degree
- Accurate and diligent processing and monitoring of equity, fixed income, and cryptocurrency trading
- Support trading order management, settlement, and portfolio cash management
- Reporting to support financial audit, tax, and regulatory needs for private asset holdings
- Real-time risk management and risk mitigation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain successful working relationships across a multitude of cross functional teams
- Thinks critically to solve sophisticated business problems
- Ability to quickly acquire and assimilate information from multiple sources
- Strong individual contributor who works effectively as a member of a highly functioning team
