Arena is looking to expand the Structured Finance team, through the addition of a Senior Analyst. In this role, this individual will act as the intermediary between all parties, both internal and external, in closing a transaction. This individual will communicate with internal compliance, internal operations, counterparties, banks, attorneys, and other vendors to answer questions and resolve any issues at closing and future funding. On the days leading up to and on the day of closing, this individual will interact with all parties to resolve any problems.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external counterparties such as borrowers, banks, attorneys, and other vendors to answer questions and resolve any issues throughout the investment life cycle.
• Research and determine operational needs for potential investments
• Coordinate a smooth closing process so all investments are funded on schedule
• Resolve any operational issues that arise during the investment process
• Work with Structured Finance investment team to research and source new investment opportunities
• Monitor investment performance after closing and assist with any requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree ideally in a quantitative area (e.g., finance, economics, accounting, engineering)
• Experience with financial products is preferred but not necessary
• Excellent communication, time-management, and computer skills including use of Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced math and calculation skills
