What we’re looking for:
Arcadia is seeking an Analyst to join our Data Science & Analytics team to focus on Partnerships. You will provide insights and reports on customers acquired through Arcadia’s business partners such as Airbnb, Goldman Sachs, and New York City Housing Authority. This output supports the efforts of our sales and partner fulfillment teams who are responsible for growing Arcadia’s membership and our clean energy impact.
You will develop performance reporting to enable partners and Arcadia to understand the impact of our programs. Additionally, you will address complex, high-impact business problems and will become the go-to team member for all things related to how our customer acquisition partnerships function and perform. This means being responsible for the full data analysis lifecycle -- including problem definition, data preparation, analysis, synthesis, and recommendations.
This role is based in Washington, DC or New York, NY.
What you'll do:
- Design and deliver performance reporting to enable Partners and Arcadia to understand the impact of our programs. In your role you can expect to create and deliver:
- Performance dashboards: Create scalable views into program performance using BI tools such as Tableau.
- Operational reporting: Develop automated utilization reports for use in supplier & client invoicing.
- Data sharing: Develop scalable mechanisms to enable clients to access data to further grow our partnerships
- Drive the full lifecycle of data-driven decision-making across our partnership efforts through:
- Problem definition: Deeply understand Arcadia partnerships; help define the key metrics and reporting needed to increase Arcadia business partner trust, satisfaction, retention, expansion, & referrals.
- Data preparation: Query necessary data from our CRM and data warehouse for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Analysis: Using a wide range of methodologies, analyze partner performance and automate reporting using business intelligence tools.
- Synthesis: Don’t just run the numbers; interpret what they mean and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences to influence how we operate.
- Recommendations: Translate insights into meaningful business recommendations. Help our channel partnership team double down on the highest performing partnerships.
What will help you succeed:Must-haves:
- 2-3 years work experience as a data analyst in a business setting
- Experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, Excel, and/or Tableau (or other BI tool) for data analysis
- Solid understanding of statistical methods
- Strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders on outcomes & recommendations, and an interest in teaching others
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs
