Job Summary:

The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Disciplines in the CDM organization participate in the life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The CDM organization is comprised of Hardware Configuration Management and Integrated Design Check (CM/IDC), Software Configuration Management (SWCM), and Data Management, Engineering Support and Execution (DEX).

The Configuration Management Department is looking for an individual to contribute to a fast-paced Engineering Team and to work closely with the Office of Chief Engineer and Program Management to provide guidance, support, and solutions to configuration management issues when they arise.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, proven teaming and critical thinking abilities, computer skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to solve complex problems, and a solid competency in project planning.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Participate in the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements

Maintain an information management system to ensure compliance with operational directives on an assigned program

Perform analysis on engineering data items to ensure a robust, producible, and fully supportable product

Review proposed engineering data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations

Assist in the implementation of customer requirements and management of engineering change activity to ensure compliance with configuration management policies

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Must be either currently pursuing degree or degree must have been granted in the last 18 months.

Experience analyzing data and/or processing documentation/records

Experience with Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

The ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance

U.S Citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Value:

3.0 cumulative GPA desired

Self-starter with excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task and set priorities

Experience working on a team

Project management experience

Experience with documenting processes or procedures

Knowledge of government contracts, specifications, and regulations

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles
