The Opportunity

We are looking for a team member with excellent communication skills, with a background in technology, business intelligence, and strong logic and problem solving. This team member will support growing Analytics capabilities and emerging technologies for the Originations Team.

The Work Itself

  • Responsible for the design, development, and support of business intelligence solutions to meet reporting and analytic needs from our business partners in Direct Lending / Originations
  • Implement robust, reliable, and custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
  • Develop and maintain self-service reporting solutions and/or automated solutions
  • Use SQL as main tool for data preparation: extracting, cleansing, aggregation, and summarizing data to create meaningful visualizations
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data by creating automated testing scripts
  • Participate in the design and implementation of logical and physical data models
  • Review proposed production changes to ensure highest quality data standards and lowest production impact
  • Navigate, understand, and leverage existing complex data structures for reporting
  • Support production BI solutions by monitoring and tuning SQL queries and data loads
  • Addressing user questions concerning data integrity
  • Monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues proactively
  • Interact with senior management, department leaders and other employees to develop and reach agreement on reporting requirements and priorities
  • Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos)



The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Masters is a plus
  • Technologies / Coding Languages:
    • Reporting - Power BI (Preferred)
    • Scripting/Query Languages: (Required Advance) - SQL(Preferred), Python (Plus), SAS
    • RDBMS: Oracle, Snowflake, SQL server, etc.
    • Data platforms: Hadoop, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle
  • Strong technical knowledge and/or skills for area of expertise AND/OR management knowledge of Data Analytics reporting and management
  • General understanding of the requirements of the entire function
  • Strong background building and maintaining data infrastructure
  • Strong platform & tool skills
  • Complex problem-solving skills
