Job description

Assure Syndicates is a team focused on facilitating investment in early-stage venture capital. The Analyst role entails facilitating all interactions with Assure to increase the number of deals closed. Analysts will immerse themselves deep inside the startup and private investing ecosystem helping founders, investors, and other deal organizers. Be real. Be bold. Be brave. Working with founders, networking with investors, and running deals requires syndicators to be authentic. This in turn demands a high level of transparency-deal organizers need to be bold, and they need to be brave.

The Analyst will handle multiple aspects of financial reporting and investor relations, learn as much about SPV's and the venture capital ecosystem as possible. As the analyst learns about the ecosystem, they will be asked to participate in some of the same activities including attracting new investors, educating founders, and engaging outside syndicators, and handle several different activities. This department is growing and will need someone that can be flexible with frequent change. This position requires regular in-person attendance in the office and punctuality to ensure optimal productivity and customer service.

Duties include

• Self-motivated
• Facilitate interaction with Assure, enabling the greatest number of deals to be closed by the Assure Syndicates team, ensuring all deals run smoothly
• Manage and consolidate founders' individual investors including deals where we consolidate administrative deals
• Strong internal and external communicator and promoter, regularly communicating facilitation of venture capital offline and online
• Manage financial reporting
• Utilize software applications to allocate, rack, and execute closing syndicates deals
• Help create processes to improve how WE (you are part of the team) grow
• Learn how SPV's function and be able to coach others through the process
• Begin to attract relationships of trust with investors of all types (from all regions)

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess the following traits and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to interact with executives, investors, and founders
• Ability to build a breadth and depth of relationships with investors (individuals/angels)

• Ability to learn about new industries, hunger to understand how venture capital and angel investments work
• Ability to effectively use a computer for word processing, spreadsheet research, and budgeting
• Creatively demonstrate oral and written communication skills
• Integrity is a must
