Agile Business Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Lead the collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization, concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment as a business analyst subject matter expert. Determine the operational objectives of business needs and elicit functional requirements. Identify core business needs, decompose and document concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories, document business rules, and construct workflow diagrams. Condense complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria. Serve as the development team representative during UAT for the purpose of clarifying the intended functional behavior of the software. Attend Agile Scrum meetings and interface with stakeholders to ensure accuracy of the business and software requirements and user stories. Contribute to the preparation for and delivery of software system demonstrations to the user community.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with requirements, business, and systems analysis
- Experience documenting user stories, business rules, and system requirements
- Experience with testing and UAT
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Scrum
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent
- Experience with automated testing, including Selenium or equivalent
- Experience in a variety of roles across the SDLC
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL
- Knowledge of systems integration
- Possession of excellent analytical skills
- Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
