Aegis Program Analyst
Description
SAIC is looking for an Aegis Program Analyst to join our team in Washington DC.
The Aegis Program Analyst oversees and manages the detailed operational planning and execution of Test and Evaluation (T&E) in support of the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) at the Navy Yard in Washington DC. Coordinate all detailed planning aspects of the project and serves as liaison between program management and planning activities, project team, field offices, and other T&E stakeholders. Assess T&E requirements and develop budget, resource coordination, test documentation, and mechanisms to monitor T&E project progress. Develops Issue papers, , budgets, risk management, program briefs, project schedules, white papers, executive level summaries, Naval Messages, and various technical documents as needed to coordinate project requirements. The candidate will facilitate working group level meetings that coordinate stakeholder involvement from the Program Offices, NAVSEA Field Activities, Test Ranges, support contractors, and other U.S. Navy System Commands and Fleet activities. The position will require occasional to frequent travel to test ranges and warfare center for programmatic and Test support during events. Typical on range test support will include scheduling, coordination, and conduct of milestone meetings, and capturing and recording of test and evaluation system performance data. Candidate must be able translate detailed Test planning documentation such as TEMP, Test Plans, data management plans, and similar documents in order to validate and coordinate resource requirements. Additional duties and responsibilities will be assigned as need in order to coordinate program success.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years experience, or four additional years of equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Required Security Clearance:
- Active SECRET Clearance
Required Qualifications:
- Operational and Technical knowledge of US Navy Ship Systems and programs (Navy Aegis experience preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office application to include Excel and Access.
- Experience with database applications.
- Up to 25% travel may be required
