Job summary
The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for an Advanced Analytics Solutions Lead to join the Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team. In this role, you will have a key role in advancing the analytical capabilities for the Sales and Channel team. You'll engage with senior leaders across our sales and channel teams to bring innovative, data-driven insights, look for opportunities with prototypes and quick wins, and promote adoption of existing analytical assets. As an Advanced Analytics Solutions Lead, your primary success measures will include positively impacting business processes in clear and meaningful ways. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
Primary job responsibilities

• Be responsible for advanced analytics business engagement with sales and channel teams with a sharp focus on generating actionable insights
• Promote the adoption of existing analytical assets; apply your deep understanding of business processes and know-how to map analytical outputs into key business outcomes
• Collaborate with EDA leads and stakeholders to develop road maps for data, analytics, and adoption priorities
• Develop adoption and implementation plans in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Bring innovative ideas and presentations for new advanced analytics outputs to the business that will generate substantial value
• Design prototypes and perform ad hoc analysis for new analytical outputs like graphs, model scores, or guardrails
• Be responsible for quick win scoping, feasibility assessments, and strategic roadmap alignment for new analytical outputs
• Help the sales and channel teams shape strategic roadmaps

Required skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting business functions within highly consultative environments focused on problem solving and innovation
• Solid relationship management skills with both business and technical teams
• Experience with data and analytics strategy and road map development
• Highly proficient at telling a story with data at the executive level
• Previous direct experience with a wide variety of data analytics approaches like propensity modeling, forecasting, operations research, and cluster-based segmentation
• Experience with design and development within visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, or D3.js
• Prior experience with SQL, R, or Python
• Experience with relational database systems like SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Oracle, etc.
• Ability to initiate and manage multiple cross-functional projects at the same time
• Basic understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and reporting in it is a plus
