We are looking for an excellent Ad Platform Solutions Engineer to join the band in NYC.


Spotify’s Ad Platform team develops strategic relationships with ad-tech partners to increase our exposure to new revenue opportunities, optimize new and existing advertising products, and pursue agreements that will step-change the growth of our advertising business. You’ll help shape and launch revenue partnerships, by working with both external and internal partners, the Revenue Partnerships team, Operations, Ad Sales, Analytics, Product, Finance, Legal, and Tech.

What you'll do

  • Develop detailed understanding of Spotify’s advertising programs to figure out efficient partners and integration approaches to reach our ideal user base efficiently.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure partnership integrations are prioritized accurately, crafted in accordance with our agreement and executed and managed in a timely fashion.
  • Manage day-to-day technical contact with our technology partners, including solving issues, supporting technical requests from sales, ad ops and client services.
  • Assist in testing, scoping and management of new integrations and technical capabilities, such as SDKs, APIs or 3rd party custom integrations.

Who you'll be

  • You have a minimum of 3+ years experience working in software development, sales engineering, technical account management, or partnerships in the advertising technology space.
  • You have a proven understanding of the online marketing space, specifically around automated selling and buying, auction mechanics and data management platforms.
  • You have a strong technical understanding of data infrastructure and ability to process and understand technical documentation.
  • You are a great communicator who can digest complicated technical processes and effectively translate to any audience.
  • You have an ability to work independently to initiate and manage relationships.
  • You preferably have previous experience partnering and scoping integrations for RTB/exchanges, mobile mediation partners, 3rd party data providers, advertising networks and/or publishers a plus.
