The Actuarial Lead Analyst - Pharmacy Finance will be a key Pharmacy Finance contributor on the Rebates FP&A team responsible for timely and accurate Shared Rebates, Rebate Optimization, and SafeGuard Rx projections, and monthly variance analysis of actual results vs projection.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Rx Economics, Rebate Operations, Underwriting, and Segment Finance to drive further alignment on Shared Rebates, Rebate Optimization, and SafeGuard Rx projections. Alignment will include mixture of both (1) bottoms-up analysis at client-level and sharing-type level, and (2) top-down analysis against strategic benchmarks.
  • Own monthly close and quarterly projections for Shared Rebates and SafeGuard Rx. Present quarterly & monthly variance analysis to broader Pharmacy FP&A team.
  • Partner closely with Gross Rebates team member to align on Optimization impacts during monthly & quarterly cycles.
  • Own business case tracking for certain Rebate solutions such as Verity 340B and Safeguard Rx programs.
  • Evaluate & implement process improvements related to Shared Rebates, Rebate Optimization, and SafeGuard Rx projection models to minimize modeling risks, run time, troubleshooting time, and maximize transferability and accuracy.
  • Refine calculation of drivers methodology to produce clean Shared Rebates drivers of variance analysis for Rebates, Consolidated Rx Finance, Consolidated Buyer Group, and Client Pricing reporting.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3+ years of actuarial, finance or related work experience
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced Python, Tableau, SQL, and Excel skills preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be proactive and effect change, influence, persuade, and collaborate with audiences of various levels of experience and responsibility



For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $73,500 - $122,500, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
