Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Team Submarine contract supporting the acquisition of submarines. The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

Serco-NA is seeking a Management Analyst to provide programmatic Acquisition support to one of our NAVSEA customers in the Washington, DC area. The Acquisition Management Analyst will be the primary customer contact for all activities, regularly meeting with and updating the customer on project status.

In this position you will:

• Provide Acquisition Analyst, Planning and Execution support.
• Interpret government work packages for Submarine depot-level maintenance availabilities.
• Create Contracts/Statements of Work for private shipyards to compete and submit proposals, based on work package requirements.

Qualifications

Education and required/Preferred Experience:

• A Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's level degree in a business or technical field and 5 to 7 years in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, financial/cost analysis, or a relevant field.
• Seven years of experience with Navy acquisition and Submarine Programs is desired.
• Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer is desired
• Knowledge of shipyard contracting, acquisition processes, budgeting process, and Navy program execution are required.
• Active Duty Experience in the submarine service preferred.

Recent experience in Team Submarine would be ideal.
