We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist with
strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, data engineering, analytics, and
visualization. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders
and technical teams to design scalable data solutions, build robust data
pipelines, develop impactful dashboards, and deliver actionable insights that
drive business value.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate
requirements into actionable technical tasks.
- Define project scope and align business and technical
teams.
- Design data pipelines, propose data and dashboard
solutions, and support development cycles. Be able to
- facilitate collaboration between business and the
Fit4Cloud team Develop and maintain high-quality,
- efficient software/Custom solutions.
- Build, deploy, and scale cloud applications using AWS
with a focus on performance and security.
- Document system designs and key technical details.
- Resolve operational issues and support new use case
onboarding.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project
goals.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Take ownership and deliver impactful, meaningful
solutions.
Requirements
- Relevant IT / Business / Engineering Degree
- Candidates with one or more of these certifications are
preferred:
- A WS Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Developer
Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS
- Certified, Architect Associate, AWS Certified Architect
Professional, Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and
workflows using AWS services, including Python coding
- and data ingestion (ETL, Spark) from various data sources
including APIs, Databases, Files, Streams etc.
- Utilize Amazon Quick sight for data visualization,
reporting, and interpretation to support business
- decision making.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as
Terraform, for managing AWS infrastructure
- Develop compelling and insightful dashboards that tell a
clear story from complex data to support business
- decisions and drive actionable insights.
- Support exploratory data analysis and provide insights to
drive business objectives.
- Strong experience with AWS services including but not
limited to S3, Glue, Athena, RDS, Lambda,
- DynamoDB, EC2, VPC, Step Functions, and other related
services.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub Actions for version
control and CI/CD.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders
to understand and analyze business requirements,
- including the underlying business context and translate
business requirements into well-defined technical
- specifications.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical
concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- and the ability to engage effectively in a multicultural
business environment.
- Experience in defining acceptance criteria and managing
scope for technical deliverables.
- Adaptability to perform additional tasks under the Agile
Working Model (AWM) Charter
