What You’ll Do:
In this 12-month contract, as a Data Scientist, Partnerships, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to key clients within the business. Specifically, you will become a significant contributor of actionable insights which will drive strategy, support with tactical initiatives, as well as improve efficiency within the organization. Your analysis and business intelligence tools will help promote and sustain the profitable growth of Triangle Partnership programs. You are the type of individual who can energize the people around you and inspire fellow employees and shareholders with your natural curiosity and problem-solving ability.
Establish a strong understanding of financial and customer related data sources, with emphasis on delivering data driven solutions.
Support the development of sound analytical models utilizing various data sources. Understand the statistical significance of various model outputs and how to interpret them for creating business value.
Enhance analysis with the use of statistical methods to provide support for findings.
Support cross functional teams with knowledge of data model applications and use cases.
Extract, manipulate and interpret data to isolate on key trends. Summarize findings into concise and informative reports and presentations, which can be easily interpreted by business partners across the organization.
Provide proactive analyses on areas of the business which are influenced by customer behaviour trends.

What You Bring:
University Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline
2- 3 years experience building machine learning models that address business needs
Sound knowledge of statistical models and machine learning
Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, and/or SAS
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Experience with extracting and working with large customer and retail data sets
Draw meaningful conclusions/insights from large amounts of data
Working knowledge of data management and design
Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a team environment
Passion for data, technology, and implementing technology for process improvement
Manage project timelines through effective communication and feedback loops.
Experience in Retail or Banking Industry an asset in any of the following areas: marketing or sales support, operations, finance

Broadband Salary Range: $33/hr – $54/hr CAD.
Our typical hiring range is between $33/hr and $44/hr CAD. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. We're committed to attracting top talent.
