Meaningful Work From Day One:
The role of the Data and Analytics Architect is foundational to the overall business intelligence function of Brown-Forman. It encompasses both a business and technical orientation and is significant for the strategic coordination and leadership activities related to the organization’s information architecture and data strategy. This includes creating, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise data warehouse solutions for the organization. The role is accountable for identifying and leading the implementation of information solutions aligned with both business priorities and the overall data strategy and architecture. The main responsibilities include design and development activities associated with the technical and business functions of data acquisition, ETL, physical and logical databases, master data management, data integration, analytics design, and data quality. The role will also lead specific priority initiatives and champion specific causes on behalf of the global organization.
What You Can Expect:

Coordinate the development of information and data architecture strategy in conjunction with key stakeholders.

Associate business requirements to business processes and translate them into Data requirements.

Participate in initiatives that provide innovative information solutions in support of business initiatives.

Expand and enrich the content of the enterprise data warehouse to achieve the overall information vision

Increase the decision-making ability by promoting further adoption of business intelligence technologies and applications via a process-focused approach to information consumption.

Collaborate with Advance Analytics, Data Engineering, Global Delivery, Master Data Management, and Regional Business Partner Teams to identify future needs and requirements.

Collaborate with Business Planning Systems and Data Architecture and Business Intelligence teams to ensure alignment with other global data governance areas of practice (e.g. Data Architecture, Data Modelling, Data Storage & Operations, Security, Data Integration & Interoperability, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Analytics).

Lead specific priority projects coordinating resources across the technology group and within the business operating units.

Effectively communicates workload prioritization and progress to all interested parties.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience:
-
Broad understanding of data architecture, data modeling, structured and unstructured data, data warehousing, data integration, ETL processes, and analytics.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.
-
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across all levels of employees and management.

Has a process mindset with a good understanding of operations disciplines and project delivery, including experience with agile methodology.
-
Demonstrated experience with commercial, financial, supply chain, and customer relationship management functional processes.

Working knowledge of SQL programming.
What Makes You Unique:
Education: Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Business Administration or related field
Experience:
-
Experience with SAP BW, Cloudera, or Tableau.

Experience with SAP functional applications areas of SD, MM, PP, FICO, and HR.

Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response, Infor dEPM, or Jedox.
