Amentum is seeking to provide on-site support to the Adaptive Capabilities Office (ACO). Successful candidates will lead activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, and program-funded test coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers, independent verification and validation (IV&V) entities funded by DARPA, and within DARPA itself.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support to the ACO office, ensuring seamless execution of technical and programmatic initiatives.
- Lead project management, risk analysis, and test coordination activities.
- Organize and lead meetings, assess performer progress, and project outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and IV&V compliance.
- Design, establish, and secured DoD tactical classified networks.
- Manage network security and edge sensor technologies for defense applications.
- Provide expertise in Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps networks.
- Lead hands-on R&D programs, advancing next-generation defense technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of relevant military experience
- Must have an Active Top Secret Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Ability to work with little oversight to take abstract problems, provide detailed analysis, and generate recommendations, both individually and as part of a team managing a DARPA research and prototyping program
- Experience with tactical network engineering and operations
- Experience formally documenting requirements and supporting evidence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background with information assurance product use, such as COMSEC devices and key management, classified network accreditation, DOD cyber security activities, application of cross domain guards.
- Experience with Red Teaming, Vulnerability Research, or Reverse Engineering.
- Education and/or experience using Formal Methods, such as using automated reasoning tools to verify software or generating trustworthy implementations automatically from specifications.
- Excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to perform proof reading and quality control on technical documents and slides.
