Description: 

IERUS Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to support the Business Operations at our headquarters in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of relevant experience. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Provide troubleshooting support as well as on-site administration of Linux systems in a team environment; 
• Assist core team with configuration and maintenance of computer systems; 
• Provide timely technical support for employees and work with them to solve existing problems; 
• Provides hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support; 
• Diagnose and corrects computer, server and network system issues; 
• Responds to technical issues as they arise; 
• Perform other IT duties as assigned.

 Qualifications: 

• Experience or training setting up and maintaining Windows, Linux and VMware operating systems and related hardware; 
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization; 
• Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; 
• CompTIA Security+ CE Certification preferred.
