Job Description
As a Senior Security Architect, you will drive research and consultation decisions on existing or emerging security projects and associated services, processes and support strategies. This role is responsible for Architecture, Implementation, and oversight of the Enterprise Archer platform. You will manage the evaluation of security innovation for your platform and set direction for security roadmap, implementation and support strategies. You will evaluate vendor technologies and services and manage relationships. You oversee and define documentation requirements and assist in the preparation of proper documentation defining Cerner's security control standards. You will assess risks and implement mitigation strategies against security industry frameworks and standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders both inside and outside Cerner to align with solution strategy and priorities.

This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• At least 8 years of total combined related work experience; including:
  • At least 2 years of Information systems security work experience
  • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including;
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering or related field.
• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Skills

• At least 6 years work experience directly related to Information Security, GRC, Software Engineering or Architecture, or similar area
• Experience with architecture and implementation of RSA Archer including creating and modifying applications, advanced workflow, and integrations between platforms.

Expectations

• Ability to obtain government security clearance or certification (i.e., DOD or VA)
• Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Obtain and maintain Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification within 12 months of hire or transfer
