The Role

This is an administrative position in the IT organization to provide administrative support to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) within Cybersecurity.  The individual does not require a Q clearance to begin work but must be able to obtain and maintain a Q clearance.  The position is full time with hybrid remote work.

General administrative support for the Cybersecurity Organization

• Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files and web content (e.g. SharePoint); interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail

• Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures

• Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment

• Attends staff meetings, prepares slide decks, records notes and action items, and disseminates to stakeholders

• Manages Cyber Organization directorate activity calendars to include holiday, leave, and associated events

This position will include advanced, diversified, and confidential duties that may be administrative in nature or project based. Work may require broad and comprehensive experience and skills, and a thorough knowledge of organization policies and practices.

Specific Knowledge Requirements:

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Must be able to read, write, and comprehend applicable written and/or oral communications.

Ability to prioritize and adapt to fluctuating tasks.

Strong organization and planning skills.

Requires ability to establish, maintain, communicate and coordinate advanced administrative programs and projects.

High school diploma, or equivalent, and 6 years of experience.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Light to moderate lifting may be required for packages and other items, ability to walk short distances, may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Due to government and/or federal regulations for this position, proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
