How you will make an impact:

The Customer Success Representative works with a passionate team whose focus is to understand the customer’s needs and requirements. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager this position is responsible for providing support to our Key Account Managers and existing clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Perform outgoing calls/emails and assist in managing existing business and generating new sales. The Customer Success Representative will proactively contact customers using the phone and emails to gather information, assist in the onboarding process of new clients and assist in the increase of sales.

  • Assist Key Account Managers in meeting sales targets and ensure growth in assigned market or customer segments.
  • Assist in managing the entire sales process for the product lines, target accounts and sales opportunities.
  • Engage with existing customers, guiding customers to the product solution that best meet their needs, coordinating with internal resources to address customer questions/objections, providing budgetary pricing, creating and submitting individualized quotes, negotiating, overcoming obstacles and closing the sales process through the point of order receipt.
  • Work collaboratively with key account managers to develop and execute programs to support growth strategy of the company.
  • Support in establishing new customers and growing existing customer accounts.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

  • Associate’s Degree from college or technical school and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training in sales or customer service; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others.
  • Strong ability to identify customer needs, obstacles to the sales process and solutions using company‘s products and services.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of customer personality types.

US BASE PAY SCALE $24.77 - $29.81

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
