LeaseQuery is seeking a Customer Accounting Advisor (CAA) that will play a vital role with the Customer Solutions (CS) department serving as lease accounting subject matter expert. The CAA role will work with various internal stakeholders to problem solve, analyze calculations, and provide guidance on execution within LeaseQuery. As a subject matter expert, the CAA will contribute to educational efforts from conducting webinars, writing knowledge base articles, and leading department learning sessions.

LeaseQuery's headquarters is located in Atlanta, GA, but this role can sit 100% remote.

What you will be doing:

• Develop lease accounting expertise and its application within LeaseQuery.
• Serve as subject matter expert in lease accounting standards under IFRS, GAAP, and GASB jurisdiction. 
• CAA will be able to apply subject matter expertise to teammate and customer questions to resolve those questions as the answers relate to accounting outputs and treatment within LeaseQuery.
• CAA will work in a technical consulting capacity on customer engagements to provide specific expertise that combines technical accounting expertise and the execution of that expertise using LeaseQuery software. 
• CAA will work both behind the scenes with the entire CS department, but also assisting CS team members with customer calls.
• Working in conjunction with Customer Solutions Support (CSS) team, CAA may from time to time join customer calls to troubleshoot and assist in remediating issues.
• Both Customer Success Managers (CSM) and CSSs write knowledge base articles for users to access. Knowledge base content that is related to FASB, IASB, and GASB will be created with assistance from CAA.

What skills and experience we need you to have:

• Four-Year Accounting Degree
• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Positive and outgoing personality
• Curious while having a problem-solving mentality
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to lead project efforts for cross departmental teams 
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Position requires proficiency in Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
