What You’ll Need:
- 1 year of general radiology preferred but not required.
- New Grads welcome to apply – trainee opportunities available.
- IEMA License
- Current ARRT registry
- CT certified within 1 year of hire
What will you do?:
Performs optimal scans using correct technical factors, shielding and protocols, based on the patient diagnosis, history and other relevant clinical information.
Positions patients correctly, using proper immobilization techniques
Use correct technical factors in accordance with the American College of Radiology (ACR) to use the lowest amount of radiation to get a diagnostic scan.
Performs CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, VR, Vessel Analysis, and MPR's, post processing of computer data to enhance exams for radiologist interpretation, using reconstruction software appropriate to the pathology or region of interest.
Initiates IV for administration of contrast media for CT

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Standard precautions for dealing with body substances and hazardous materials.
- Standard precautions for radiation safety per IDNS.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.
- Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
