We are seeking a CRM Analyst to own and scale automated testing for our Salesforce platform. Your mission will be focused on building, maintaining, and evolving our Copado Robotic Testing suite to ensure the Cars Commerce Salesforce platform is reliable and resilient, supporting quality and confidence across the full release lifecycle - from early development through production validation. In addition to automation, this role will provide strategic input into both automated and manual testing approaches, helping shape how quality is validated across the CRM team. The role will be actively involved in manual testing efforts for larger initiatives and high-risk releases, partnering closely with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts, to validate end-to-end business workflows. What You’ll DoAutomated Testing & Quality AssuranceDesign, build, and maintain Copado Robotic Testing scripts for critical Salesforce business workflows
Translate user stories, business processes, and known risk areas into automated test scenarios
Execute automated regression, smoke, and release-validation test cycles
Troubleshoot and stabilize test failures to improve reliability and reduce false positives
Manage test data to ensure repeatable and dependable test execution
Own the Copado Robotic Testing practice end-to-end, serving as the primary SME
Establish and maintain testing standards, best practices, and documentation
Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and expand the automation footprint
Operate effectively in an ambiguous environment, turning high-level objectives into action
Partner with the CRM team to validate release through pre- and post-deployment testing
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating and executing automated test runs
Communicate and log testing results, risks, and readiness clearly to stakeholders
Provide manual and exploratory testing support for large initiatives, UAT cycles, and high-risk changes
Offer guidance and best practices for manual test case creation and execution
Act as a flexible testing resource when additional QA support is needed
Experience with Copado Robotic Testing or Salesforce-focused test automation, with a strong understanding of Salesforce processes and architecture
Comfortable acting as a single owner of a technical practice and taking ownership
Able to navigate unclear requirements and structure solutions independently
Detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-driven, with a strong sense of accountability
2 - 4 years of experience in automated testing, with hands-on responsibility for designing, building, and maintaining automated test cases. Experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) strongly preferred; equivalent Salesforce-focused or UI-based automation tools considered
1 - 2 years of Salesforce experience, with exposure to core CRM workflows and platform architecture
Salesforce Administrator certification preferred (or equivalent practical experience administering Salesforce)
Experience supporting regression testing, release validation, and UAT cycles in a production Salesforce environment
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and testing within Agile or iterative delivery teams is a plus
Our Salesforce platform supports mission-critical business processes across sales, fulfillment, billing, customer support, and marketing. Automated testing is essential to protecting platform stability while enabling faster delivery and continuous improvement. This role is foundational to building a scalable, reliable CRM environment and reducing risk as the platform evolves. You’ll play a key role in strengthening quality across the release lifecycle, influencing how our CRM team builds, tests, and delivers Salesforce solutions.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position. In addition to base salary, some roles are eligible for our bonus and/or equity programs, depending on level and role. Regular full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package. If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience.
